These ribs.
Seriously.
I heard on the radio recently that BBQ ribs are among the world’s most unhealthy foods. I don’t even care…these ribs are that good. They are worth every calorie, every fat gram, every carcinogenic morsel.
So without further ado…make these ribs! 🙂
Recipe for BBQ Ribs
Ingredients:
- 1 rack of baby back ribs (don’t skimp on the quality…get good ones!)
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tbsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups Sweet Baby Ray’s original bbq sauce
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Place ribs on 2 layers of heavy-duty foil. Season all over with spices, then seal closed with another double layer of foil.
- Bake for 3 hours.
- Unwrap ribs and carefully pour all juices into a container. Let ribs and juices cool, then transfer both to fridge. Let sit in fridge for 1 to 2 days – this is key! Do not cheat and take them out any sooner!!
- Two days later, prepare your grill. Take out reserved juices, and whisk in one cup of chicken broth and 1 1/2 cups of the bbq sauce.
- Place ribs on grill, and baste with sauce (reserving some for dipping). Grill for about 6 minutes on each side.
- Eat! Enjoy! These are good enough to impress you in-laws. 🙂
If you decide to try this recipe, I would love to know what you think! Any other bbq ribs tips out there? 🙂
